Andrew Neutze B.V.Sc.

Andrew NeutzeAndrew joined Macarthur Veterinary Group directly after completing his BVSc at Sydney University in 2010. Andrew, a local lad, enjoyed his final year rotation at MVG so much that he applied to join us as soon as an opportunity presented itself.

Andrew is developing into a first class veterinarian who is able to explain sometimes very complex concepts to clients in a way that is clear and enables them to make fully informed decisions about the right treatment for their pet.

Andrew and his girlfriend Kate (currently studying Medicine at Sydney Uni) share their home with “Charli” a female wire haired Hungarian Vizsla and a Spoodle named "Ellie".

Andrew’s love of animals and desire to help them developed while growing up surrounded by animals and helping his mum at the local veterinary clinic where she worked.

Sarah Aitken B.V.Sc. (Hons 1)

Sarah AitkenSarah completed her degree at Sydney University in 2006 and joined MVG in early 2010 where she believed she would have many opportunities to develop her skills, both surgical and medical.

Like many of our staff, Sarah grew up on a farm: a dairy on the mid north coast where she had lots of interaction with animals - cows (obviously), pigs, horses, lots of dogs, pet mice, rabbits, deer, and chickens. Sarah gained a great deal of admiration and respect for the veterinarians who treated the family’s animals. This early experience as well as the knowledge that veterinary science would provide her with opportunities for continual learning and challenge decided Sarah on her career path.

Sarah is passionate about her work and like so many of our staff particularly enjoys being able to return sick/unhappy animals to good health. She is particularly interested in soft tissue surgery and is very keen to further develop her orthopaedic surgery skills. Sarah also enjoys challenging medical cases and emergency work.

Sarah is an avid horse rider and she and her thoroughbred mare, “Jazz” compete in dressage, hacking and show jumping events. Sarah and her partner Tim also share their home with “Alfie” a desexed moggie they adopted from our Bradbury clinic shortly after joining the practice.
